Red Brick Store

This mercantile was operated by the Mormon prophet, and features his upstairs office that served as the headquarters of the young LDS Church. At one time the upstairs was used for a school of 37 children, including those of Joseph & Emma Smith. The Masonic Lodge of Nauvoo also met upstairs. Today the store is filled with replicas of historic products.
